Independent connection research for travellers

Your phone says 5G. So where does your internet really go?

In about half a minute, see how fast servers in fixed places answer you, which network they see, and what the speed of light rules out. Honest about what we know — and about what no website can know.

Choose how much data to use

Address, network and response delay. No speed test. A product limit, not your operator's bill: page assets and protocol overhead come on top and are shown separately.

  • No account
  • No trackers
  • Nothing is measured before you start
Latency radar, waiting to start1 measurement server(s) ready: Staging probe. After the start, the distance from the centre shows the measured response delay.

Distance from the centre = measured response delay, not a map.

What happens

Three honest questions, measured for real

No overall score, no ranking. Every conclusion points back to the data behind it.

Who sees you where?

Servers in fixed, known places tell which public address and network they see. Different servers can see different exits.

How fast do they answer?

Small HTTPS requests, interleaved across servers after warming up. HTTP response delay, not an ICMP ping.

What does physics allow?

Light in fibre is fast, but not infinitely fast. Some places can be ruled out as the exit of your traffic.

What no website can see

A website cannot read your SIM, eSIM profile, APN, cell tower or the route inside the mobile network. We never pretend otherwise.

How it works

From question to answer in under a minute

  1. Tell us where you are

Country, optionally your city, and how you're connected. We never guess it from your IP: that is exactly what we investigate.

  2. Watch the radar fill up

Every dot is a real request to a real server. You choose the data budget and can stop at any time.

  3. Understand your connection

A clear verdict, the evidence behind it, and an expert layer with every sample, version and export.
