The closer to the centre, the faster our server answers. It is not a map.

What we find out

Three questions about your connection

No score and no ranking, just an honest answer. Every result shows how we know.

Where does your internet go out?

We look at the country and network where your traffic goes onto the internet. Websites think you are there.

Does your traffic take a detour?

Travel eSIMs often send your traffic to another country first. We show whether yours does, and what it costs in speed.

How good is your connection?

We measure how quickly your connection responds. The full test also measures how fast you download and upload.

What we cannot see

A website cannot see which SIM or mast you use, nor the path your traffic takes inside the mobile network. We always say so.

How it works

Your answer within a minute

  1. Tell us where you are

Pick your country, your city if you like, and how you are connected. We never guess your location from your IP address: that is exactly what we examine.

  2. The test runs by itself

You see live how quickly our server answers. You can stop at any time.

  3. Read your answer

First a clear answer in plain words. Anyone who wants more opens the technical details.
